Homewood Suites by Hilton Jackson-Ridgeland

We’ve been staying here for a week to be close to my husband’s job site, and it’s honestly been a fantastic experience. The room is clean and feels newly renovated, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the breakfast is consistently delicious. The hotel is tucked quietly behind a couple of other extended stays, giving it a sense of privacy and peace with hardly any road noise. There are plenty of great food options just minutes away, which has been super convenient. Don’t let the negative reviews fool you, some people complain about things that are completely outside of the staff’s control. We’ve had nothing but a great stay and will definitely be back again in the future.

As a Hilton Diamond of past 7 years, I always expect the best service. I checked in late, but Tre, front desk was ready for me with the room. The exercise room was clean and ready. They have a Peloton. Exciting! You can watch personal TV while exercising. The breakfast was top notch with fresh fruit and traditional American breakfast & self-make waffles . I highly recommend this hotel.

I checked out of my 2 bedroom suite yesterday after spending the weekend there with my family to attend a family reunion nearby. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by the incredible service rendered by the staff! Everyone from the front desk clerk to hotel maid service was extremely friendly. However, I am writing this review specifically for Ms. Jacquelyn who heads the breakfast buffet in the mornings. She is AWESOME! Her service is incredible and I was told by both my mom and sister that she prepares some mean grits! Ms. Jacquelyn THANK YOU for all you do and for making our weekend a terrific experience! You deserve a raise!!! We will for sure be returning because of your service especially! I would highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed there for 2 nights in suit, nice and cozy place. There were some renovations going on but still then enjoyed the stay. The thing you don’t want to miss is the breakfast..oh my.. cheese omelette, turkey sausage, baked potatoes, waffles with orange juice. Just loved it. Staff was very friendly and didn’t mind our late night check in. App key was not working but front desk key worked. Highly recommend this place and must try breakfast.

Great suite hotel very conveniently located. Breakfast is delicious and the common areas are clean and welcoming. The gym is well equipped clean and cool. The front desk ladies Grace Kelly, Kristen, Khalia and Almanee always acknowledge your presence with a big smile and go above and beyond to help. The only suggestion is for the bathrooms: the tubs are slippery a safety handle as you exit the shower will be litterary a life saver! Thank you I really enjoyed my 3 days stay!

Overall could use some deep cleaning and maintenance. Sticky floors, dirty carpets in the hallways, difficult to open doors, broken fixtures. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was decent, but don't go near closing time because the selections are slim. The pool was pretty small and the water was murky. Exercise room was also small but equipment worked fine. Location close to shopping, food and interstate 55.

We just finished our first stay across the weekend and I would come back. Our toilet was dirty and I was a little upset about that but honestly I applaud hotels for the cleaning they do because they don’t have much time to clean all the rooms between guests. NOW ON TO THE FIVE STARS. The customer service from the staff was grade A, the woman at the front desk gave me a small pack of Clorox wipes to freshen up my room when I noticed the bathroom and she also was there each night when I wanted a late night snack from their store and happy to help and chat (I love chatting). The breakfast was hot, delicious and had variety. Monday morning was my last morning and I didn’t know breakfast ended earlier than the weekends but the Chef happily helped me box up what he had left to offer me and as a newly pregnant lady that was special to me and my 2 year old. You can have a “perfect” hotel and the staff be rude and not keen on helping you but this place was pretty close to perfect AND the staff was amazing. Someone in hiring knows how to pick ‘em here. Don’t believe everything you read in these reviews. We stayed here on our way to Orange Beach and we absolutely loved it. The room was clean, the staff was extremely friendly, and the breakfast was great. It was discreetly tucked away with a couple other hotels but there were tons of food options within a few blocks. We would definitely stay here again if we were passing through.
